A dedicated music educator, ANN LIAO ESHAGPOOR not only has her students’ best interests at heart but also is committed to the success of each student. The goal of the Ann Liao Piano Studio is to provide an environment suitable for the instruction and enjoyment of music. Mrs. Eshagpoor tailors all piano lessons according to the specific needs of each student. Her approach to teaching piano has helped numerous students learn so much more than just technique and reading musical notation. What students learn here will stay with them for a lifetime.
Mrs. Eshagpoor made her debut performance at the age of 6. She is a classically trained pianist. Both her undergraduate and graduate degrees are in the field of piano performance. She received her Bachelor of Music from California State University, Fullerton, and her Master of Music from the University of Southern California. Many of her former teachers are giants in the field of music, including Dr. Stewart Gordon, Dr. Martha Baker-Jordan, Dr. Robert Watson, Dennis Alexander, and Dennis Thurmond.
Teaching for 17 plus years, Mrs. Eshagpoor’s students have received numerous honors and won many competitions in piano performance. She is also in high demand throughout Southern California as a piano adjudicator and evaluator.
Being a member of the Music Teachers’ Association of California (MTAC) and the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT), Mrs. Eshagpoor’s students have endless opportunities to perform and shine. Mrs. Eshagpoor has also been serving as a board member in the MTAC Diamond Bar Branch since 2008, and she is currently serving as the MTAC Diamond Bar Branch President.
